The wonderful folks at Kutoka have done it again!

Introducing: Didi & Ditto ,Mother Nature’s Visit!

This wildly entertaining and innovative PC game for pre schoolers is fun ,involving and so engaging that your little people won’t even know they are learning as they play!

I have played this new learning game with both my youngest tot who is 3 and my neighbors son who is 4.

Both boys laughed and sang and romped their way through the tasks set for them.

The basics are: Mother Nature is coming to visit!

There is a problem! (oh no!!!) Someone has broken and hidden all the musical instruments the gang was planning to use at their big welcome party! and if that’s not bad enough (oh no again!) that same someone has stolen all the yummy food made for the party and hidden it too!

The game can be set to one of three difficulty levels which is great for the beginning computer user or the more savvy one.

The songs are fantastic and my tot was singing right along after the first few minutes.The interest of each of my tots was held fast and they couldn’t wait to play again and again!

This game is a must have! (really!)

There is a new kids movie opening this weekend – Sept. 19 – that I can’t wait to see. It’s called Igor. If you know me, you know I get excited when a new kids film comes out and it doesn’t focus on princesses!

In a land of mad scientists and diabolical inventions, what do you do when you’re born with a hunch on your back?

You become an Igor.

A hilarious twist on the classic monster movie, “Igor” tells the story of one Igor who’s sick of being a lowly lab assistant with a Yes Master’s degree and dreams of becoming a scientist. When his cruel master kicks the bucket a week before the annual Evil Science Fair, Igor finally gets his chance.

With the help of two of his experimental creations – Brain, a brain in a jar who’s a little light on brains, and Scamper, a cynical bunny brought back from being road kill, Igor embarks on building the most evil invention of all time, a huge, ferocious monster. Unfortunately, instead of turning out evil, the monster turns out as Eva, a giant aspiring actress who wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Just when the load on his back can’t get any heavier, Igor and his band of monstrous misfits uncover an evil plot that threatens their world. Now, they must fight to save it and prove that heroes come in all shapes and sizes.

The movie features the voices of some of my favorite actors/actresses –John Cusack, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Jennifer Coolidge, Arsenio Hall, Sean Hayes, Eddie Izzard, Jay Leno, James Lipton, Molly Shannon and Christian Slater.
